If you are a company that sends brochures, leaflets, direct marketing mail or even just Christmas cards, why not enhance the message with a scent. Scents will make your print marketing much more powerful. People will notice it easier, remember it and even tell their friends about it. Using scent in marketing is still so new that the word of mouth it generates is huge!
We offer our clients multiple ways of using scents in printed material because we know there is not just one right way to do it! Our products are categorized in three categories, depending on which way scent is wanted to be released.
Solutions in this category emit scent without the need of touch. The print material (paper or cardboard) is either infused with a scent or coated with scent lacquer that smells. The scent in infused paper lasts in a magazine for 3-5 months and if it is wrapped in plastic, easily over a year. The scent coating lasts about 2-5 weeks.
Scent solutions that we categorize as passive scents need to be activated by touch to release their scent. Old, Scratch & Sniff technology is very unreliable in scent accuracy and not that user-friendly since it needs to be literally scratched. We have connected with the world's leading solution in scent encapsulation and now scents can be released with an extremely high accuracy when compared to the actual fragrance oil. This means the encapsulation technology we use, suits very well for the fine fragrance products as well as for others.
There are occasions where you want to activate your audience, get them to connect with you. For this we offer the possibility to make fragrance labels. This patented fragrance sampling technology utilizes clear or four color printed pressure sensitive labels that can be affixed to any substrate. This unique technology allows them to reseal once they have been opened, maximizing their sampling usage and shelf life.
Problem:
How to stand out during Christmas with a sensible budget. It's very hard to do that with a Christmas card, since companies get hundreds of cards.
Solution:
We solved this problem by designing our customer a card that looked like a Christmas tree and was scented with a nice fresh pine scent. The scent was added as an encapsulated coating so that it would give an extra surprise to the recipient.
Result:
The card was a success, the customer received calls thanking them for the card and it has been a discussion topic at a lot of meetings after Christmas. The company's CEO even heard people who had not received the card talking about it.
